simultaneously wishing i were a woodland fairy, a maiden in the scottish highlands who is actually a selkie, a victorian naturalist who scandalously wears pants, a 1960s schoolgirl by the sea, a friendly forest witch, a reef-dwelling mermaid, a ghostly gothic heroine, or maybe a cat
I have literally never related to a text post more than this

the bbc just made a stevebucky fanvid this is really happening
WHY
BBC and Sky Movies are having a ship war and honestly this is just a great time to be alive.
Is this real life?
Seriously. BBC is making stucky fanvids and Sky is like “EXCUSE ME MY SHIP IS BETTER THAN YOURS” and I’m alive to see it
THIS IS THE ONLY KIND OF SHIP WAR I CAN GET BEHIND

That man is called Alexandre Astier, he is a French actor, writer and director. He also composes his own scores. He has written one the funniest french tv series in years: “Kaamelott”, the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, told with a mix of humor and drama. The show first aired approximatively 10 years ago. He also wrote a really good one-man show called “Que Ma Joie Demeure” about Johann Sebastian Bach and more recently, “L’Exoconférence”, another one-man show about the possibility of extraterrestrial life (I haven’t seen that one). I don’t think a lot of people know him outside of France but his work is one of the smartest, funniest and most original we had here in our recent history.
